Messages aren't sending
Find out why a message wasn't sent or delivered, and fix it.
Start with the bell at the top of the app. It lists every problem easymessage has found, with a link to the fix. Then check Activity for the message: failed messages show the reason Meta gave.
Common reasons
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp access expired / Meta couldn't sign in with your token | Create a new system-user token in Meta (see Connect WhatsApp) and save it on Connections. |
| Permission missing | The token needs whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management. |
| The flow never ran | Check the flow is Live, and that its trigger's store event shows active on Connections. |
| Template not approved | Flows only send approved templates. See Template rejected. |
| No phone number | The customer didn't give one, or it's missing a country code. Set the Default country code in Settings. |
| Marketing message skipped | The customer didn't accept marketing, or replied STOP. |
| Message couldn't be delivered | The number may not be on WhatsApp. |
| Number not on your allowed list | Your Meta app is in development mode. Add the number in WhatsApp → API Setup → To, or finish Meta's app review. |
| Payment problem | Add a payment method in WhatsApp Manager → Payment methods. |
| 24-hour window closed | You can only send a template, not a normal message, more than 24 hours after the customer's last message. |
Replies don't reach the Inbox
The webhook isn't set up, or its app secret doesn't match. Follow step 3 of Connect WhatsApp. Make sure the Meta app secret on Connections comes from the same Meta app as the token.
